The Dual Credit Program helps students work towards their diploma while preparing them for a successful transition into their chosen pathway after graduation. Students with the potential to succeed, but who may be facing challenges completing diploma requirements, can benefit from this program option. Additionally, eligible Ontario Youth Apprentices gain a valuable “jump start” in their post secondary apprenticeship training while in high school. Students can earn up to four dual credits which count towards both their high school diploma and their post-secondary diploma, degree or apprenticeship certification.
