Advertising in Our Schools
The Ottawa Catholic School Board’s Clearinghouse reviews requests from external agencies, organizations, and community groups wishing to distribute information through our schools to ensure the programs/events are compatible with our educational programs and Catholic teachings.
Please email Clearinghouse@ocsb.ca with your flyer/information. Once a request is approved, the process is as follows:
The parties making requests are advised by the Clearinghouse that:
- The information will be sent electronically to school email accounts for inclusion in communications with school communities.
- If organizations wish to distribute hard copies, they must contact schools directly. Electronic flyers/posters are encouraged.
- While approval has been granted centrally, school principals ultimately determine their own level of involvement concerning advertising and promotion materials.
- The organization is added to a master list of approved requests.
