Building Bridges of Hope: An Easter Message from the Director of Education

As we prepare to celebrate Easter, I want to take a moment to wish all of our families a joyful and peaceful Easter season.

Easter reminds us that even in difficult moments, hope and new life are always possible. In our schools, I see that hope every day. I see it in the way students care for one another, in the dedication of our educators and staff, and in the strong partnership we share with families and our parish communities.

This year, as we continue to live our Spiritual Theme, Open Doors, Build Bridges, Nourish New Beginnings, our focus on Building Bridges reminds us how important those relationships are. Our schools are places where students learn not only academics, but also how to listen, support one another, and build communities where everyone feels they belong.

As we celebrate the resurrection of Christ, I hope the Easter weekend brings your family time to rest, time together, and moments to reflect on the joy and hope that this season brings.

On behalf of the Ottawa Catholic School Board, I wish you and your loved ones a blessed and joyful Easter.
