
We are thrilled to honour the exceptional recipients of various awards in recognition of their outstanding achievements and contributions. This selection of awards celebrate academic excellence, community involvement, leadership, and dedication in various fields of study.

Edward J. Cuhaci Architects Award
Recipients of this award will receive a certificate and a $1,000 bursary. It is awarded to a graduating student from the Ottawa Catholic School Board who plans to take a post-secondary program in the design/architectural studies field in college or university. The winners of this award have demonstrated achievement in design/architectural-related courses in high school while also completing all of the requirements for obtaining an Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
This year’s recipient is Samyra-Joyce Oyakhiromen of St. Joseph High School.

National Bank of Canada Award
This award was given to a student for writing a short essay on managing debt related to post-secondary expenses. They have also completed the Ontario Secondary School diploma requirements and plan to take a post-secondary program in college or university.

Your Credit Union for Overall Achievement Award
This award is given to graduating students who have demonstrated strong work ethic, community or school involvement and require financial assistance to pursue their post-secondary education goals.
This year’s recipient is Valene Musyimi of Immaculata High School.

Shepherds of Good Hope Graduate Student Volunteer Award
This award is given to a graduating student who has demonstrated dedication in volunteering at school, church, or in the community. They have positively impacted the community by volunteering their time to directly benefit community members who access the Shepherds of Good Hope services.

Friends of the Mer Bleue Scholarship
The recipient of this award will receive a $2,000 scholarship to pursue post-secondary education at a Canadian university or college where at least one environment-related course will be completed.

Sweetnam Graduation Award
This award provided by Mr. Phil Sweetnam is given to a diligent, hard-working student who is graduating from one of All Saints, Holy Trinity, and Sacred Heart High School. They have demonstrated a well-rounded involvement in their school and community and outlined in a one-page essay how they meet the criteria of the award.
This year’s recipient is Joanne Tran of All Saints High School.
