What better time to showcase St. Josephine Virtual High School’s new logo than during Black History Month?! In June 2021, we were thrilled to announce that OCSB’s first permanent virtual high school would be named after St. Josephine Bakhita, a Canossian Sister (Institute of St. Magdalene of Canossa) of African descent.

About the St. Josephine Logo
The new logo builds off the original Virtual Academy logo but gives a nod to St. Josephine with stylized figures of students that symbolically mirror St. Josephine’s headpiece. It also highlights the Catholic faith in a more prominent way with the cross at the center or the icon while maintaining the concept of virtual learning with the depiction of a screen.
