St. Pius students recognized with Pillar Award

The Pius Pillar Award is given to students for being “pillars” that uphold the traditions of St. Pius X High School. To be awarded this high honour, students need to demonstrate through leadership, compassion, acts of kindness and spirit that they reflect the values of their school’s rich legacy.

Last week, Casie, Ally and Marco were invited to dip their hand in paint and leave their mark on a pillar in the school atrium as the three winners for the first semester of school.

“I love to see the students’ faces when they get this award,” said Principal Alex Belloni. “It is the highest honour a student can get!”
