The Light Is Closer
As we enter the fourth week of Lent, we begin to sense that Easter is near. There is a quiet anticipation. A reminder that renewal is coming.
But before we arrive there, we are invited to pause one more time.
What Has Changed?
Take a moment to look back. Has your perspective shifted? Have you noticed moments of growth in yourself or others?
In our OCSB schools, growth is often subtle. A student who is more confident than they were in September. A class that feels more connected than it did at the start of the year. A staff team that has learned to lean on one another.
Lent helps us notice these changes.
Choosing Hope in the Everyday
Hope is not loud. It shows up in persistence. In resilience. In kindness that continues even when it is not returned.
Across our board, we see hope every day. In classrooms. In hallways. In conversations between colleagues. In the steady commitment to student well-being.
Carrying Hope Forward
As Easter approaches, we are invited to carry forward what we have learned. Not just for one season, but into the rest of the school year.
Hope grows when we nurture it.
A Question for Reflection
What is one sign of hope you have witnessed in your school or home this week?
