Don’t Forget about Pink Shirt Day – February 28!

Pink Shirt Day began in Canada in 2007 when two students from Nova Scotia took a stand against bullying and invited their friends to join in. How did they do it? It was simple. David Shepherd and Travis Price bought 75 pink shirts for other boys in their school to wear to support a boy in grade 9 who was being bullied. This small act of kindness and courage sparked a movement that grew far beyond anything they could have imagined! Today, thousands of people world-wide wear symbolic shirts to fight bullying. Join us on Wednesday, February 28, for #ocsbPinkShirtDay, and remember to share your photos on social media using our hashtag!
