Friday Feeling | Exploring what grows outdoors

For this week’s #ocsbFridayFeeling, gardens, plants and rivers were studied, explored and cared for. Classes ended with snack time under a tree and one school even went on a field trip. There’s so much to learn in the great outdoors.

Snacks under a tree, tulips and sunshine were most appreciated at St. Anne School.

The St. Kateri Tekakwitha School students had a lot to think about when it came to plants.  Do they need rain or sun or both?

The students at Dr. F. J. McDonald School will see the fruits of their labour once their well-tended gardens grow.

It was a great lesson this week at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School. Just ask the students about the plants that help our minds and bodies grow.

Finally!  The St. Michael School, Fitzroy students were thrilled to head out on a much anticipated field trip.

The lessons learned from a river keeper at St. Patrick’s High School will be a memorable experience for students.

It’s good to get a closer look!  Lots to discover at the science center at St. Marguerite d’Youville School.

The students at Dr. F. J. McDonald school can now order pizza en francais!

Almost ready for take-off!  Concentration on his project will net this St. Clare School student his goal for his glider.

St. Isabel School received this stunning addition to their front foyer.  Thank you to all involved in the vision and installation.

This well received book club was a hit with the St. Peter High School students.

What are you passionate about?  The All Saints High School students had a chance to share and display projects on their personal interests.

It's time to register!

Kindergarten registration is open!
