The Ottawa Catholic School Board launched a two-week charitable campaign in support of the Catholic Education Foundation of Ottawa (CEFO) last month. Year after year, OCSB employees go above and beyond raising funds and awareness for this worthy cause. Once again, generous OCSB staff answered the call of kindness and raised an astounding $319,461 for CEFO– one of our largest amounts to date.
Many thanks to the generous staff and retirees of the Ottawa Catholic School Board for this incredible contribution to support the most vulnerable in our community. “As a Principal, I see firsthand what a difference these funds make in our community,” said campaign co-chair, Sheri Stashick. “It really was a team effort– It’s inspiring to see that every school and department participated in this year’s campaign, whether through a direct donation or by participating in a fundraising activity through their school or department,” added co-chair Jennifer Carroll.
