This week’s #ocsbFridayFeeling carried a sense of gratitude and growth. As the season changed, students took time to notice the world around them. They spent time learning outdoors, tending gardens, and bringing their lessons to life through math, French, and creative projects.
The OCSB’s Deep Learning approach encourages students to wonder, act kindly, and remark how their learning connects to the broader world. We saw this in hands-on problem-solving, eco-friendly choices, and in moments of teamwork that turned learning into action.
November invites reflection, and our students reminded us that learning isn’t just about knowledge. It’s about empathy, gratitude, and the small ways we build bridges every day. Each lesson, celebration, and shared laugh encourages our community to grow a little stronger, together.
