Friday Feeling | To Infinity and Beyond

This week’s #ocsbFridayFeeling is about what it means to reach toward each other, toward new ideas, and toward a bigger understanding of the world around us. This week, with the NASA Artemis II launch capturing imaginations everywhere, that feeling had a little extra lift.

Some students reached outward, organizing and giving on behalf of those in need. It is the kind of generosity that does not wait to be asked twice, and it says something important about the communities we are building together. Caring for others is its own kind of courage.

In other spaces, students reached toward each other. Words of affirmation were shared between friends, small and sincere, the kind that stay with you long after they are spoken. Elsewhere, liturgies filled school gymnasiums with joy and gratitude, a reminder that faith is something we experience together, not just individually.

Curiosity continued to spill out in every direction. A science class moved outside because the weather finally said “yes!”. In art rooms, libraries, and STEAM labs, students were building, imagining, and discovering in ways that are entirely their own.

Every astronaut was once a student who asked a question nobody else thought to ask. In our schools, that same spirit is alive and well. We are not just building learners. We are building the curious, the brave, and the ones who will one day go further than any of us can imagine. ✨🌱🚀
