Friday Feeling | Learning That Lights Us Up

This week’s #ocsbFridayFeeling focused on winter learning and meaningful connections.

Across our schools, students stayed curious and engaged through creative, hands-on learning. Classrooms were full of problem-solving, teamwork and exploration, including lessons inspired by space science and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen’s journey toward the moon. 🚀

Family Literacy Day added something special to the week, as parents and caregivers joined classrooms to read together and share favourite stories. These moments reminded us how powerful learning can be when it is shared.

Winter also became part of the experience. From snowy schoolyards and sledding hills to creative indoor projects, students found ways to learn, play and connect throughout the week.

A steady reminder that even in winter, our schools are places of curiosity, care and joy. ❄️💛
