Dear OCSB families,
As Christmas approaches and the year comes to a close, I would like to extend warm Christmas wishes to you and your family. This season invites us to slow down, gather together, and reflect on what truly matters.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees and our Student Trustees, thank you for the trust you place in the Ottawa Catholic School Board. Your partnership with our schools plays a crucial role in your child’s learning and overall well-being. When families, schools, and trustees work together, we open doors for students to feel supported, valued, and encouraged to grow in both learning and faith.
Trustees work closely with school leaders and staff to support safe, welcoming, and faith-filled learning environments across our system. Together with families, we build bridges that strengthen school communities and create a sense of belonging for every student. We are grateful for the many ways parents contribute to school life. For those who are able, volunteering at your child’s school or becoming involved through school activities or school councils is a meaningful way to support learning, deepen connections, and help new beginnings take root.
As the Christmas break begins, I hope your family finds time to rest, reconnect, and enjoy moments of peace and joy. May this season bring warmth to your home and renewed hope as we look ahead to the year ahead.
Merry Christmas. May the New Year bring good health, happiness, and moments of grace for you and your loved ones.
Warm regards,
Mark D. Mullan
Chair, Board of Trustees
