Remembering with Gratitude: Who Will You Honour This Remembrance Day?

Each year, the Ottawa Catholic School Board community comes together in gratitude to honour the brave individuals who have served, and continue to serve, our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and love of peace inspire us to live with compassion, hope, and respect for one another.

As part of our annual Remembrance Day tribute, we are proud to display the names of Veterans, active service members, and their families on the large digital sign in front of the Catholic Education Centre. This meaningful display will run from November 5 to 12, 2025, offering an opportunity for our community to pause, reflect, and take photos of the sign as a gesture of remembrance.

Add a Name, Share Your Gratitude

To take part in this special tribute, kindly fill out the form by providing the name of someone you would like to commemorate this Remembrance Day. Please complete the form by Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 9:00 p.m.

Remembering Together

Across our schools, students and staff are marking Remembrance Day through liturgies, classroom learning, letters of gratitude, art, music, displays and quiet reflection. These meaningful activities remind us that peace begins in our hearts and extends through our actions.

Join us in sharing your school’s Remembrance Day reflections and tributes using #ocsbRemembers. Together, let us honour those who gave—and continue to give—so that we may live in peace.
