This week’s #ocsbThursdayThoughts was all about gratitude, growth, and connection.
As Thanksgiving approached, students and staff reflected on the importance of coming together — learning from one another, supporting each other, and finding joy in everyday moments of kindness.
Across our schools, students built bridges through action: cheering teammates on, exploring the natural world outdoors, expressing creativity in art and drama, and tackling math challenges with curiosity and collaboration. Many also took time to pause for mindfulness and appreciation, strengthening the sense of belonging that unites our communities.
Every shared experience — on the field, in the classroom, or beyond — becomes a small act of bridge-building, reminding us that we grow stronger when we lift and learn from one another.
