Friday Feeling | Reflection, Hope, and Everyday Wonder

This week’s #ocsbFridayFeeling was rooted in remembrance, resilience, and discovery. Students and staff honoured the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with compassion and reflection. From heartfelt class discussions to vibrant displays of orange, the message was clear: Every Child Matters.

Students also laced up their runners for the annual Terry Fox Run, showing perseverance as they walked and ran in Terry’s honour. Their steps carried both gratitude and hope, reminding us all of the power of coming together for a cause.

Beyond these important events, classrooms came alive with discovery. Students explored the importance of recycling, studied insects up close, and took their learning outdoors under the autumn sky. Hands-on science activities inspired curiosity, reminding us that even small moments can spark big learning.

From honouring the past to exploring the natural world, our students remind us every week that faith, learning, and action go hand in hand.
