It’s Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week in Ontario, and the Ottawa Catholic School Board is taking a stand with kindness. We work hard to ensure our schools are safe and positive learning environments, not only because it’s the right thing to do but because it also sets the best foundation for our learners to thrive.
While bullying has a devastating effect on student learning and well-being, kindness fosters community and enables learners to soar. This week our schools will be engaging in various learning activities to equip your child with information, ideas and opportunities to make our community more welcoming and inclusive.
Whether your child is in school or learning from home, we invite you to join in and share what you’re doing on social media using #ocsbKindness.
