
Every month parents across the OCSB community gather together to put on events, workshops and seminars to support students and their families. Our partners at the Ottawa Catholic School Parents’ Association (CSPA) hold regular meetings throughout the school year, organize free events and provide resources for families and school councils. Environmental Activism for Families – April 20, 2022
Celebrate Earth Month with CSPA! This Earth Day the CSPA team will be tackling plastic pollution and how we can all be part of the solution! Our Environmental Activism for Families workshop will be led by, Lindsey Barr of World Changing Kids. We will discuss and learn more about developing a plan of action you can take individually, as families, as a community, and throughout our school communities.

CSPA General Meeting – April 27, 2022
CSPA meetings are generally held on the fourth Wednesday of each month during the regular school year. Jennifer Gauthier, OCSB Educational Consultant, will lead a session covering how to recognize and respond to a concussion, including OCSB procedures in place for students with a suspected or diagnosed concussion. OCSB’s Dr. Prince Ehoro, Sean Power and Lauren Figueredo will also be providing information on the student census initiative.

The Catholic School Parents’ Association fosters and supports Catholic education in Ottawa by providing a platform for communication between the school board and Catholic School Councils.
