Who knew when we launched the #ocsbMerci initiative earlier this month that so many people in our community would jump on the gratitude bandwagon? You knew!
We received over 6,500 “merci” submissions, and we’re not done counting! Be Community is more than a strategic commitment. It is who we are. Thank you for taking the time to celebrate your work and learning, family!
Recognize an outstanding OCSB employee
It’s not too late to brighten the day of an exceptional Ottawa Catholic School Board employee. You can recognize as many employees as you’d like; complete the Google form by midnight on Friday, March 26, 2021. All recognized employees will be entered in a draw for a prize next week.
“I am so thankful for Mme Gallant’s inclusive and attentive teaching style towards all of the students in her French class. Her wonderful teaching skills became obvious to me throughout the remote learning period. My son is truly fortunate to have her as his French teacher at SJA. She clearly cares about the students and helps put them at ease during these unprecedented/unusual times. I am also very thankful for her open/consistent communication with parents via email. Merci, Mme Gallant!”

“Kathrine Kingham does such an incredible job as the administrative assistant working the front desk in the office. She seemingly knows everyone by name, staff and students, and is consistently professional, kind, and pleasant. She also seems to know everything about anything; she is often my first point of contact should I need support on anything from tech difficulties, to knowing where the admin are, to knowing where a student is, to knowing how to set up my answering machine. And I really appreciate exchanging stories about the babies in our lives… ;)”
