It’s time to register your child for Kindergarten 2021-2022 at your neighbourhood Catholic School. To make the process easier and safer for you and your family to register for Kindergarten, we went 3D. That’s right, from the comfort of your own home, you and your child can magically enter the world of Kindergarten.
Accessing our 3D tour is as easy as opening your laptop
Our 3D Kindergarten Tour is accessible on any mobile device or laptop. The tour allows your child to walk through their classroom as if they were actually at school. It’s almost like being part of the class before class starts. You can drop by the art and crafts table, the snack centre, the prayer table and the cubbies where they will hang their coats. You can even get a glimpse of the playground – all from the comfort of your couch.
Deep Learning
When we face a challenge, we use critical thinking skills to find solutions – just like we teach our students through Deep Learning. This framework for learning is part of OCSB’s culture, so when COVID-19 cancelled in-school visits, we practiced what we teach our students. We knew we had to find a new way to connect with our families. We collaborated with a local firm to design a creative way of communicating with you! And that is how our 3D Kindergarten Tour was born.
