Though COVID-19 has led to rescheduled graduation ceremonies, the Ottawa Citizen and Sun is hosting a citywide celebration for the Class of 2020.
They want to share your grad outfits and speeches online, on their social media channels and in special Citizen print sections on June 18, 19 and 20. Please note: to be included in the print editions, the deadline to submit is June 12.
How to participate:
- Send them a photo of you wearing your fabulous grad outfit by tagging or mentioning @ottawacitizen on Instagram or TikTok. You can also share by emailing it to mwalters@postmedia.com. Please include GRAD 2020 in the subject line.
- Please email a copy of your valedictory or other grad speech, to mwalters@postmedia.com. Remember to include GRAD 2020 in the subject line.
- Please email us a short paragraph describing your hopes for the future.
You can participate in one, two or all three of these opportunities, free of charge. Be sure to include your full name and the name of your OCSB school. It’s all about celebrating you!
