As we embark on an exciting new school year, I invite you to think of the #ocsbOneWord that reflects how you want to experience this school year. For me, it’s all about the word “relationships.”
It’s exciting to think that we will be entering the third decade of the 21st century in this school year. I look forward with eagerness to our annual start-up as we welcome over 44,000 learners to our schools and get excited about the relationships that will be formed and strengthened throughout our Catholic school community.
This is year two of our spiritual theme where we turn our focus on “Love Kindness and Mercy.” As we explore showing kindness and compassion in our daily interactions, I invite you to recognize the people God has placed in your path and consider ways you can reflect kindness and mercy.
I want to extend a warm welcome to all new students, families and employees to the OCSB. You are joining a large and vibrant family. Together we foster relationships that shape us to “Be” OCSB.
Blessings for a smooth #ocsbFirstDay and an inspiring 2019-2020 school year!
