The Education Act requires that school boards establish and monitor the implementation of a Multi-Year Strategic Plan (MYSP). The purpose of the MYSP is to provide vision for the Board by establishing a small number of strategic directions, with an emphasis on student achievement. Operational plans, such as the Board Improvement Plan for Student Achievement, flow out of the MYSP. This plan can be updated annually, and will be reviewed with the Board of Trustees each year. Our Board’s Multi-Year Strategic Plan 2010-2013 builds on our Board Priorities, which have remained consistent over the years.

Underpinning these priorities is the foundation ofour Gospel Values, enhanced by our annual Board Spiritual Theme. In order to leverage the learning opportunities provided by new and emerging technologies, Learning in the 21st Century is also be embedded into all aspects of our plan. Our commitment to establishing and following these priorities has resulted in improvements in student achievement and well-being, effective stewardship of the Board’s resources, and the delivery of effective and appropriate educational programs.
