Students in the high school Core French pathway are required to obtain 1 credit in a course where French is the language of instruction. However they are encouraged to continue to take French Language Arts courses throughout high school at the Academic, Applied, Open, and University Preparation levels. Pursuing additional language courses creates opportunities for further study in French after high school. The Core French pathway allows students to develop functional fluency in French.
