The Ottawa Catholic School Board's Communications Department provides reliable information on issues and events occurring throughout our school system to both media contacts and the public. We provide newsworthy information about our schools, our students, and our greater school community. We also provide assistance to our schools, departments and educational partners with the production of advertisements and publications, such as the Director's Annual Report. We are the first point of contact for emergency notices and crisis situations, and we ensure that our community is kept fully informed about what is happening in our district. Part of our communications strategy includes managing our Board's website to provide all stakeholders with the information they need to make informed decisions about education.

We are committed to promoting our Ottawa Catholic School Board as the best educational choice for students and parents/guardians. We are constantly enhancing our image and informing the public through the use of various media outlets such as our corporate websites, social media strategies, and advertising campaigns. We maintain an open relationship with the media (newspapers, print publications and radio) to create greater awareness and understanding of the amazing things happening in our Board every day.
